Veterans Home Care Services
At N-able, we are dedicated to providing healthcare and related services to veterans and war widows entitled to receive them. Our offerings include community nursing and veterans home care, specifically designed to address their clinical and personal care needs. The primary focus of our program is to deliver community nursing services to entitled individuals, including veterans and war widows holding a Gold Card. Additionally, veterans with a White Card may qualify for the service if the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) acknowledges that their nursing requirements are linked to their military service.
The main objective of our Community Nursing Program is to enhance the quality of life and health outcomes of veterans and their widows. This is achieved through the provision of high-quality community nursing services, aiming to prevent early hospitalization or residential care and promote independence.
QUALIFICATIONS AND ELIGIBILITY:
To qualify for DVA community nursing, entitled individuals must first obtain a referral from their GP or the Hospital Discharge Planner. Subsequently, our team at N-able coordinates with the client to schedule a comprehensive community nursing assessment conducted by a qualified Registered Nurse.
N-able Therapies offers a range of Community Nursing services to DVA clients, specifically designed to maintain the health and well-being of eligible veterans or widows. The type of services provided is based on the individual’s assessed care needs.

- Catheter care, including male and female catheter insertions and removals, as well as suprapubic catheter management.
- Syringe driver management to support the delivery of medication.
